Scholarship Guidelines

• Up to two deserving students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Eligibility

Must be currently attending a local college, with at least one more year of classes left to take.

Preferred Majors:

• Advertising
• Broadcast Communications
• Mass Communications
• Journalism
• Marketing
• Film and Video
• Graphic Arts
  

Suggested majors are highly recommended and shall carry weight, but they are not mandatory and final decisions shall ultimately be left to the Selection Committee.

Scoring

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated based on the following categories:

• Academic achievement 30%
• Need 25%
• Ad career potential/internships 25%
• Letters of recommendation 10%
• Relevant extra curricular activities 10%

Deadlines

The deadline for all submissions is TBA. All applications and letters must be postmarked by this date. Scholarships will be awarded at the ADDY Award Show in March.
